Kush is a qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa) with experience spanning over a decade in non-life insurance, transactional banking, and professional advisory services. Kush joins Santam Re from the FirstRand Group where he held the positions of CFO & Executive Director of FirstRand Short-Term Insurance Limited, and the joint CFO of the First National Bank Insurance Pillar. He holds BCom (Accounting) and BCom Honours (Accounting) degrees from the University of Johannesburg.
