Michael Hill

Head - Actuarial

Michael is a Chartered Actuary Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA C.Act) and a Fellow member of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA). Michael holds a BCom (Hons) Actuarial Science degree from the University of the Free State. With over 16 years of experience in the insurance industry, he has held several roles within the Santam group. His career has spanned roles in technical actuarial pricing, product development and product management, where he honed his analytical and strategic skills. He joined Santam Re in March 2023 and leads the Actuarial Team.
